Human Resources (HR)
Get Set Up as New Hire
Once HR has received all your new hire documents, they will:
- Send Information Technology the new hire form to grant you access to email. This will take 24-48 hours.
- HR will then send you instructions on how to set up a Paychex account.
- Your Adjunct Faculty contract will be prepared and sent to you by either Cynthia Antonuccio (TUG and Grad) or Temma Knight (Professional Studies).
IT is located behind Smith Hall in the IT Building, #14
Access the Network
Once HR has communicated your hiring information to IT, IT will set you up with network permissions and provide you with your account information and login credentials.
For assistance, you will need to contact IT for your login credentials.
Your VU e-mail should always serve as your primary mailbox for communicating with students. Students are also required to use their VU e-mail to communicate with staff and faculty.
Obtain an ID card
You will need to go to IT to get an ID card. IT is open Monday-Thursday from 8:00 – 7:00 pm and Fridays from 8:00 -5:00 pm. If you let them know ahead of time, someone can be available after 5:00 pm to take your picture and get you your card.
